Please include a letter describing what's being purchased along with a shipping address.

Priced within the reach of any budget-conscious musician, these traditionally designed A-models offer a big, sweet tone and a fast, easy playing action unheard of in this price range. Easy tuning is assured by the genuine Gotoh tuning machines and accurately placed frets.

There has never been a better value in an enty-level priced mandolin. The slim neck and easy action are just like the best professional models. The body is designed to produce a sweet tone with a large volume.

These superb mandolins are suitable for every musician -- from the aspiring student to the working professional.

Testimonials:

Hello Bryan, I did receive the Kentucky 150s mandolin from your store yesterday, Jan 23. I was out of town last week and on the way home i found a new 150s at a music store in Rolla, MO. It was only 10.00 more than your price and i wasn't sure when you all would have one in stock so i bought it. Now i have the one you sent and i see what you mean by being properly set up. the one in rolla was taken off the rack, put in a bag and i bought it. Yours frets much easier and it might be my imagination but i think it sounds better. The mandolin is for my grandson and I am going to keep the one you sent and give to him. So cancel the cancel I guess you could say.
By the way, would you be interested in a trade. a new 150s mandolin towards a guitar or banjo?

I just received my Kentucky KM-150S mandolin today. I love it! It came in great shape, it was all tuned and it plays beautifully. I'm also really happy with the service I've received from you guys. Your 500% policy is really cool. Thanks so much and I'll definately do business with you again some time soon! Paul Vaughan

Dear friends at Folk of the Wood: I received my new Kentucky KM-150S today, and it looks and sounds great! Thanks for getting it to me so quickly. It is my first mandolin, and I spent a few months looking around on the internet and in my hometown. When it came time to buy, there was no question where I would go--your service is amazing and your prices compare with anyone. I want you to know that you have a very satisfied customer. Sincerely, Doug Koskela

Dear Mickey I received my Kentucky KM150S mandolin in excellent condition, and on time for Christmas. I appreciate all of your effort in getting this out in time for Christmas even though you had none in stock when I ordered. This extra effort shows your dedication to customer satisfaction. I have to admit that I was sceptical about ordering an instrument over the internet. I thought that the only advantage would be a good price, and I would have to give up service in return. Boy, was I wrong! I really appreciate the time that you took to answer my dozens of questions and explain all I needed to know to make an intellegent decision about purchasing a mandolin. Knowing virtually nothing about mandolins, I felt uneasy calling to ask such basic questions, but you never made me feel as though I was asking 'stupid' or 'basic' questions. I sincerely doubt that the education that you gave me could have been had at my local music retailer. Once I received my mandolin, I was a little surprised that it was not 'set up' since you shipped it directly from the factory (in order to get it to me by Christmas). At this point I thought I was going to have to take it to a local shop for setup, and there goes my savings. Wrong again! I can't believe that you were able to explain and de-mystify the set up process so that an all-thumbs neophyte like me could intonate and set up the mandolin by myself. The future savings that I will realize from now knowing how to do a set up myself is quite a benefit in itself. Your very clear instructions and explanations, and your offer to send a newly set up mandolin to replace mine should I have any problems again testify that customer satisfaction is a high priority at Folk of the Wood. I want to thank you so much for making the purchase of my mandolin such a pleasant experience, as well as such an economical one! It is reassuring to know that my experience with Folk of the Wood did not end with my purchase. I appreciate all of your advice not only about mandolins, but also about practical ways to begin learning to play one. I am sure that I will take you up on your offer to call back with questions about learning, playing, and enjoying this instrument, and just talking mandolin in general. Please consider me a VERY satisfied customer, and I look forward to a very long and friendly relationship with Folk of the Wood. Sincerely, John Blakeney

Hello Folkofthewood, I got my Mandolin (Kentucky KM-140) today, and it is very nice. Thanks for the good service and the good deal. I have left a nice comment for you on E-bay. I only wish they allowed more space for comments. Thanks, Porter Whitmire
