Update August 4th, 2008: Greetings to All! Folk of the Wood is under the process of converting to a music publishing website. We'd like to thank everyone for their immense support over the years ... in turn, we will continue to contribute and distribute free music instruction online while still offering up all of our FAQ's, instrument set-up instruction along with all of our other acoustic music support resources. And, we will be offering this site as a promotional tool for all acoustic artists to promote and sell their CD's. Hence, we will be phasing out of instrument retail and phasing into more of a co-op acoustic music community website. Which was and still is the Folk of the Wood philosophy. Our online store, MysticWestProducts.com, is currently offering instructional books and DVD's/Videos on 5-string, 6-string and 12-string banjo, squareneck dobro, violin and fiddle, octave mandolin, mandola, mandolin, and acoustic guitar ... we will also soon be posting online instruction support materials that will coincide with all DVD's.
